Quite.  Though as was pointed out in the TX 1964 Senate race thread, poll results generally tend to become more left-wing as time goes on.  Still, if I had to bet on it, I'd unfortunately have to say that we won't get an SPD-GVP majority Sad

Yeah, it's pretty hilarious to see that KPD+SPD are winning a smaller share of the vote than PCI alone in my Italian scenario. Tongue

What did I say? Anyways, DP. I'd imagine that government formation arising from the current result would very much depend upon the constituency results, which should favour the CDU, given the vote splitting on the left.
Ah, sorry.  Your fascist leanings in the past made me think you were the one who voted DNS.  Sorry.

Fascist leanings? My dear fellow, even if I did support Mussolini (which for the record I don't given his views on religion), I would never support Hitler, a thoroughly evil man with an insidious ideology. What kind of a reactionary needs Hitler when you have Paul Von Hindenburg and Karl Goerdeler?

Again, my most sincere and non-sarcastic apologies.  Really.  I'd thought (based on previous comments) that you would've been most likely to be the ONG vote.

Probably has something to do with the CDU's fairly moderate economic views.

Yep. If the major right wing party was actually right wing when it came to economics, the results would be a lot different.
