Article.

Landrieu- 41%
Cassidy- 34%
Maness- 10%

Her approval is 46/51, down from 56/41, and Obama's is at 39/60. 44% don't have an opinion of Cassidy.

Voters oppose Obamacare 59/34.

These are the bad points for Landrieu:

Correct me if I'm wrong; I'm not really familiar with how Louisiana does elections. Don't the Republicans need to hold Landrieu to under 50% for there to be a run off?

While I'm no expert on Louisiana politics, I think it's reasonable to believe if this goes to the runoff, Landrieu will lose. These numbers are not good for Landrieu. She needs to be polling at 50% on Election Day.

Dardienne and Vitter who have much stronger approvals will be running for gov. Obama who polls won't be at 41, will be close enough, so by election time, she will be at 50 percent. She voted for nuke option and obamacare reforms, she is resilent.

She can win a runoff or not.

Hah. Cassidy has a lot of work to do, but she's very vulnerable with those numbers. Nationalization is the key to Pub victory.
