Honestly, based on his terrific past as President, Senator, and Governor, I don't have a single concern about this nominee, and I'm absolutely convinced he will do a terrific job as Game Moderator.

I will (obviously) be voting to confirm this nominee. Fantastic choice!

I would like to speak on behalf of the nominee.

Nix is one of those people that has contributed so much to the game, and has gone after to work at every position he's been elected to. I don't agree with him on issues but that is less of the point. The bigger point is that Nix is one of the most policy focused members of Atlasia, and GM requires someone as policy focused as Nix.

Well obviously. That's why Marokai and I went with him at the time. We have had half-assed GM's since Purple State up to that point and we didn't want that to happen during our administration. I hope the Senate remembers how that panned out when we were finally able to get him confirmed.

What role would you like to see the SoEA and SoIA have under your retnure as GM? What do you think could be done to keep the position from being so demanding?

I know I don't poke around much in these parts anymore, but I just wanted to say: Nix has my utmost confidence as one of the very few people who could do this job the way it should be done. You should all vote to confirm him.

Nix of course has the administration's unwavering support, but I just wanted to say that I personally wholeheartedly endorse him for the position.

Really, not because I was his V.P., but Nix is one of the most meticulous and thorough people in this game. I think he'll excel at a job like this, and in my experience he does well with numbers, cost analysis, etc. We had a number of conversations about this position, and I have no doubt that he understands the purpose of it as well as anyone. Objectivity will be no issue either.

I think we'll have more fun and the Game Moderator will be taken more seriously if we restrain ourselves to the plausible. That said, if the Senate or the President were to do anything so reckless that it could actually lead to a major war, I would do my best to simulate events within the realm of reasonableness.

In other words, if the President suddenly let loose Atlasia's nuclear arsenal, there would be consequences, but I wouldn't simulate anything crazy unless the actions of elected officials leave me no choice. Atlasia won't encounter aliens, zombies, or the singularity on my watch.

Does Atlasia not already have at least some of those?
