Personally, I hate all of my first few posts. I was a complete hack, and I am really sorry to everyone who had to endure them. About 1900 posts later, I'm so glad about what you guys did for me; as much as I didn't like it at the time. Anyways, enough of me; looking back, what do you think of your own posts?

God awful; I was a hateful, confused, bitter white nationalist idiot, and minus the racist part, still am Tongue.

Let's see...I was an insufferable Libertarian Paulite who posted in all caps and used the "XD" emoticon...definitely disapprove.

Horrible.  So many of them are absolutely incredibly stupid.  I apparently thought Granholm was a socialist?

Unfavorable.  I was an awkward newbie, and many of my posts were impulsive and terrible, but I hope that I improved fairly quickly.

Unfavorable. In at least half of them I didn't know what I was doing or how to get my point across. I recently deleted a few of them because I thought they sucked. Hopefully I'm better now that I've passed the 500 post threshold.

I'm surprised by how much good discussion there was to be had about electoral politics back then. When did those boards become so hack-dominated? Sad

On this forum they weren't too bad. But I have been an active member of forums for a long time, on other ones they were absolutely wretched.

EDIT: On closer inspection, they were kinda strange. But they were generally non-offensive, and better than most on this forum.

Favourable. I've been signed up three years or so (must be averaging 1000 posts p/a): there's been no noticeable change.

But I have been an active member of forums for a long time, on other ones they were absolutely wretched.

I notice most of the forums I've been on longer have disappeared.

The political content is fine, but the 16-year-old immaturity is overpowering.  Overall negative.

Unfavorable, I knew way less about elections and the electoral process than I do know and I was probably more of a hack when it came to political views.

I was the epitome of "Moderat-Hero". I just wanted to be liked for some reason. Now I've just settled into a Stewart-Democrat. I make funny comments to get my more liberaltarian points across.

My earliest memory of you was your adamant belief that homosexuality is not only a choice, but one made specifically to reject God.  That thread went on for days, with dozens of posters repeatedly banging against your proverbial brick wall.

Oh and as for me...

The Republicans have absolutely no chance of taking Ted Kennedy's senate seat.

... Yeeeah.

Probably better than my recent ones. My views haven't changed any really, but I've grown more exasperated over the years. I was better when I still had childlike innocence of what the forum was like.

I was a bit of a moderate hero faux-centrist who nevertheless always sided with the left. But I had a hell of a lot of fun screwing around on here and running for VP in Atlasia, so I voted favorably.

Awful.  My posts on the NDP leadership race thread are still a huge embarrassment.

Well I was a moderate libertarian, now I'm a progressive libertarian, I wasn't too bad other than that my views on abortion and taxes on the top income rates were dreadful.
