That said, I'm back to my regular scheduled activities.

I am being discrete for a reason. If someone wants to be AG along with helping with the wiki, I'll make it happen. Ben is aware, I am not doing all of this under his nose. I would never.

So far I've had people volunteer to do it without wanting to argue court cases, so obviously AG is out of the question for them.

This may be unorthodox, but sometimes I can be. We just need to get the wiki in order. We have nothing about the February 2014 election posted!

In response to the crisis that currently is my cabinet, I have appointed Talleyrand to the office of deputy secretary of federal elections and Cincinnatus to the office of secretary of internal affairs.

Rest assured, even during these dark times, I am continuing to stack my cabinet with my friends.

He never informed me, but there's a post in his office saying he'd resign after the election. It was news to me today.

After a few days of consideration, I am opening this up to replace my AG, Ben. He has offered his resignation.

This Will Be a Moving Speech

One year and two weeks ago, Atlasia lost one of its legends, when Simfan34 was forced into exile by forces outside the reach of our nation’s leaders. With Simfan’s passing, we became lost, like a puppy without its owner, or a child shaken free from its leash. While The People continued electing Their candidates to the White House, the void left by Simfan34 remains, and even I can feel it in my bed regardless of which girl I have had for the night. He was The People’s First Senator and his smiling face brought joy to all the elderly women he helped across the street each day. His colorful bowties and sharp suits became mainstays on the Senate floor and in the hearts and minds of The People he served so passionately.

To honor the one year anniversary of Simfan’s passing, I hereby award him the Order of the Golden Star of Atlasia for his excellent service while in the Senate and for staying true to The People long after he was wrongfully forced out, like a child forced out of his mother’s womb prematurely. Indeed, his time with us came to an end far too quickly.

Because Simfan34 is no longer within our borders, he has had ample time to travel. In an effort to save costs, and because I enjoy handing out jobs to all my friends, I am appointing him Ambassador-at-Large of The Republic of Atlasia to the African Union. Thanks to his knowledge of world travels, Simfan34 will be able to use his skills to improve our nation’s relations with the African Union, allowing us to better provide the necessary aid to The People of that great continent. As usual, Simfan has The People in mind even in the darkest and most hopeless of time, as he selflessly volunteered to serve even while being removed from our books…. BUT are these times hopeless?

I say no! Have no fear, Duke and Matt are here, and we have a plan. I am happy to announce that my administration has begun talks for a Negotiated Settlement to allow Simfan to return safely to our great nation. Yes, the rumors are true. Now is not the time to give up hope, it is the time to fight and shoot for the moonand miss as this administration always does. We will not rest until we see this sweet boy return to his home and take his rightful spot amongst The People just as he did prior to the coup that led to his demise, and I will not rest until the Negotiated Settlement comes to fruition.

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail until Simfan has returned home.

Radical Gay Parties with the President

Good afternoon,

After receiving some alarming news on the persecution of gay men and women on the continent in Africa, I have decided to grant asylum to any and all gays on the continent of Africa and in the countries of Russia and the Ukraine who wish to come to Atlasia to escape the hateful overlords who oppress them.

Atlasia has always been home to immigrants and people fleeing their native shores for a better, freer life. We must stand strong with our brothers and sisters across the pond and assure them that they have a friend in Duke and Matt and a friend in this country. The White House will also host a radical gay party to welcome them to their new home. Together, we can show the world that love will always prevail.

What about Christians fleeing for their lives from the Islamic Crescent or the persecution of atheistic/humanistic communism? Shouldn't they have a place to go and be free to worship as their conscience calls them too. Yes we should be compassionate to the LGBT community but not at the expense of our communities of faith.
