Alright, what about gubernatorial vacancies? Should we handle them with a special election?

What do you mean? That's for the Governor Vacancy Amendment.

That's going into the previous constitution, not this one.

Ah. Well we should definitely add it in if the amendment passes.

That and the abortion amendment, both.

I oppose eliminating clause 11, but I support the rest of your amendments.

Amendments to Clause 5 and the deletion of Clause 17 of the BoR are friendly. [Amendments 12 and 14]

Maybe we could tighten up the Right to Privacy if you see a specific way in which it could be abused, but I wouldn't want to delete it outright. So I'll say deleting Clause 11 of the Bill of Rights is Hostile. [Amendment 13]

Why are we losing the name "The People's Region of the Pacific"? That amendment is also Hostile, pending your explanation. [Amendment 15]

The amendment to clarify the Speaker's role is friendly. [Amendment 16]

Using The People in the Pacific constitution was wolfentoad's awful use of the concept, The People.  I'd prefer not to associate such, as The People constitute every region, and every facet of government.  That is all.

Also, we already have this, protecting privacy, albeit, loosely. ;

However, any blanket amendment to just say "right to privacy" is going to ultimately lead to ambiguity, and annoying bestiality drama [see Northeast].

Eh, ok, friendly on both, then. I'm fairly satisfied with that.

Councillors have 24 hours to object to any of Cinci's amendments.

I'd support removing the privacy clause to avoid A Person moving to the region and leading another crusade to legalise bestiality.

Have we discussed the regional anthem of the Pacific? That is imperative.

Not since last session and we couldn't agree on anything. I don't really believe our anthem belongs in our constitution, but you can try to convince me why it should.

One provision of the former constitution that I thought was worthwhile was the ability of the President to declare a state of emergency. Government in the region has broken down in the past, and it would be useful to have some mechanism in place in case it does so in the future.

Actually, I need the favorable/unfavorable opinion on all of these.

I'm going to need a little time to consider the amendment regarding impeachment of the Governor and councilors.  I'm not completely convinced the Justice should be involved.  Also, I feel citizens should be able to petition for recall as well.

All those amendments already made it into the constitution, although you are of course free to pull them back out. I'll pull together the current text for you guys in the moment.

PJ, you objected to deleting clause 11 of the Bill of Rights. You should hold a vote on that.
