. The recall election had low voter turnout. Wisc or Ohio can switch party control.
Please explain.

With the Dems looking likely to hold the senate, we definately will pickup MI and Pa, although WI and OH are tougher, if we gain enrodes in House we can take either one

As far as my comment about low turnout, Tea party turnout was much higher in 2010 and 2011 among GOP.

2010:

Walker: 1,128,941 (52.2%)
Barrett: 1,004,303 (46.5%)

2012 Special:

Walker: 1,335,585 (53.1%) (+206,644) (+0.9%)
Barrett: 1,164,480 (46.3%) (+160,177) (-0.2%)

So not only did Walker get a better margin, but he also added more votes during the special election when turnout increased. So your claim isn't holding much ground right now.

Please don't call yourself a Democrat, because you clearly aren't, if you support Corbett.

Did Zell Miller move to Texas?

Anyway, this race will be close, but Walker is on the better side of the polarization. Burke's floor will be the 46% that voted to recall Walker, but getting those extra 4% will be tough.

I wouldn't say that disqualifies him from being considered a Democrat.
I'm a Republican, yet I still support Wyden and Sanders, two of the most liberal members in the Senate.

Why was Barrett very flawed? Perhaps I could understand how one could call Burke, who has never held an elected office higher than school board flawed (though I don't think she is simply for that reason). But why Barrett?

Wyden is much more economically moderate than you think, so I can understand that. However, I have absolutely no idea why any Republican would support a socialist.

Although Sanders is leaps and bounds more competent than Corbett.

Burke will keep this race close definitely she's a much stronger candidate than Barrett with a successful business record and being a female she can run as a pro-Business, fiscally conservative, moderate Democrat. And the John Doe probes and the anti-abortion bill Walker tried to push through certainty doesn't help him.

I'll support any senator who favors auditing the federal reserve and actively opposes the NSA.

If Walker becomes president, won't it be a little awkward when he will have to give a State of the Union address?

With Christie falling faster than Humpty Dumpty, I am expecting Republicans to really pull this election through for Walker. They are going to demonize Burke.

They were going to demonize Mahatma Gandhi if he ever dared to run against one of them.

Do not compare that incompetent lump of dog sh**t to Bernie or Wyden. It's okay for Republicans to like them, but it's not okay for ANYONE to like Tom Corbett.

State Senator Kathleen Vinehout is dropping out of the race. Mary Bruke will be the Democratic candidate for governor baring another unforeseen challenger.

Excellent, more money for the general election.

I have a mixed opinion. I agree about the money and lack of political damage, but Burke hasn't even come out yet to say she would push for an Act 10 repeal, which is huge for a lot of Wisconsin Democrats.

I'm already getting internet attack ads on Burke, and I don't even live in the state.

Every time I see one, I just get more sure...

He is concerned since he is running ads. Once MI, ME, FL and Pa fall then walker should too.  But Walker should be concerned.

To Democrats who think they'll beat Scott Walker, I have two words: Dream on.

I think the Dems' best shot is in Florida, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania (if Corbett makes it out of a primary.)

South Carolina not happening.

The Democrats will win Pennsylvania and Florida almost certainly.  Maine is a possibility.  The Republicans will take Illinois.  I don't see any other governorships changing hands.

What about republicans taking Arkansas? (I think Illinois is iffy either way)
