Sorry if we have this already, but lets try it this way: Other than the three starting out, one of them has to be an incumbant. So with that, lets go!

Alfred=red Oldies=green Goldwater=blue

PJ=Green Oldies =Blue Alfred=Red
1. Governor Goldwater runs as a libertarian vs. Socially conservative Republican Senator Jack Enderman vs. Socialist Democrat Senator Alfred F Jones. Goes to house where Enderman wins.

2. Enderman steps down as President. Governor Goldwater wins Republican nomination. The Socially conservative/populist wing of the party runs a protest ticket with Senator Oldiesfreak. Senator Alfred runs again as the Democratic ticket. Goes to house, now controlled by Democrats, where Alfred wins.

3. Incumbent President Alfred is not popular with the Democratic party due to Socialist legislation signed into law. Senator PJ leads the "Social Democrat Independent movement" which leaves the party and becomes a coalition of Independents, which back PJ for President. Senator OldiesFreak runs for president again, this time with the full support of the right. Goes to Democrat controlled house, which votes PJ for President.

Strong libertarian candidate + massive vote splitting on the right + the Republican candidate making many ant-South gaffes = unpredictable and disastrous results.

Because of a tight three way race, no candidate gets a 270 majority. As a result, the GOP controlled House of Representatives declares the popular and electoral vote winner, Sen. Goldwater (R-WA) the President.

Goldwater narrowly carries his home state taking 41.8% of the vote in the heavily liberal state while Governor PJ (G-OR) and Governor Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH) compete over and split a number of highly populated Democratic states. Goldwater sweeps the south and most states out west which results in exceeding the Democrat and Green candidate's electoral tallies.

Senator Goldwater (R-WA) - 238 EVs
Governor Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH) - 168 EVs
Governor PJ (G-OR) - 132 EVs

President Fitzgerald (D-OH) is challenged from the right and the left in his second go about in the Democratic Party primary. On the left stands Kentucky Senator TNF, who feels that the administration has not moved fast enough on labor issues, while on the right stands Senator Miles C56, who believes that the administration is endangering the economy with it's support for adopting "green" measures.

Pres. Adam Fitzgerald of Ohio
Sen. Miles C56 of Louisiana
Sen. TNF of Kentucky

With the left divided between the incumbent and the hillbilly socialist, Miles wins a plurality, but not enough votes to be named the Democratic nominee; this leads to a contested Convention in Indianapolis, where the President is ultimately renominated. The Democratic Party platform, however, adopts a number of conservative planks on energy related issues, calling for more permits for natural gas drilling, supporting the use of fracking, and supporting the expansion of "clean coal" technology. As a sop to the left, the platform also calls for the repeal of the Taft-Hartley Act (for the first time since '72), a $15 an hour minimum wage, and national health insurance.

President TNF (D-KY)
Pastor Scott (D-CT)
MilesC56 (D-LA)

President TNF (D-KY) is challenged by Pastor Scott (D-CT) and No Labels advocate Miles (D-LA).  Scott, whose economic views were often criticized for having neoliberal leanings (which he himself denounced) offered a moderate alternative to the current president's socialistic proposals, which at the time were constantly being blocked by Congress.  Miles attacked TNF for endangering state economies with his support for anti-coal measures.  In the end, TNF prevails, though the primary proves to be a big loss to his momentum for the national election.

Governor Jack Enderman R-FL/Governor Jerry Jackson R-AR 234 EVS
President "Tee" Enuff D-KY/VP Peter Lefty D-PA 177 EVS
Reverend Bubba Scott D/I-CT/Senator Spiro Spiral I-MO 127 EVS

After the popularity of Reverend Bubba Scott in the primaries, many urged Scott to continue past the primaries. So even though he knew that he wouldn't go so far, he decided to go for it and pick Senator Spiro Spiral of Missouri as his running mate. Disgruntled centerist Democrats came in waves to Bubba. Meanwhile Florida Governor Jack Enderman locks the primaries after victories in South Carolina, Florida, Nevada and Colorado and sweeping over 60% of the Super Tuesday states. In order to please the moderates, he picked Fiscally Conservative, social moderate Jerry Jackson of Arkansas. Not only that, Scott picked up all the former Bill Clinton supporters, which is another reason why he got LA, TN, MS, and Missouri. President Tee Enuff was literally seeing his supporters run to Scott. Surprisingly on Election Night Enderman/Jackson got OH, VA, NC, FL, CO, NM, but they didn't get an electoral majority thanks to Scott/Junkie... But at the start of the election season one year previous, it looked to be a '96 or '12 repeat or something. The election was tossed to the House of Representatives, which now because of the Independent run, a lot of independents got in and replace the Democratic majority with a Republican one by only 5 seats, including 2 being vacant. So the House narrowly elected Enderman for President. But the independents' steamrolling into Congress, it stopped at the Senate's doorstep. The Democrats, though, were in control of the Senate, and they were divided as ever on the Spiral vs Lefty thought. After many hand twisting and arm pinching, Spiro Spiral was voted by the Senate for VP. So the new administration coming in was this:

President Jack EndermanR-FL

Connecticut Attorney General Scott (D): 272
Florida Governor Jack Enderman (R): 214
Wisconsin Senator ElectionsGuy (I): 52

In a realigning election, the republican party was deeply divided, and Senator ElectionsGuy ran as an independent to protest Enderman's brand. Fortunately for him (Enderman), he ended up winning <30% of the vote and not winning many electoral votes, but still massively disrupted Enderman and was part of the reason he lost. Scott on the other hand, swept easily through the primary and connected with voters much more than the other two did. He ended up barely winning the majority of electoral votes in the end.

Scott (D): 40.2%
Enderman (R): 34.5%
ElectionsGuy (I): 25.3%

Scott's best state was Vermont, where he got 71.6% of the vote and his worst was Utah, where he got 19.7% of the vote. (besides DC; 87.5%)

Jack Enderman's best state was Alabama, where he got 65.4% of the vote, and his worst state was Vermont, where he got only 11.2% of the vote. (besides DC; 10.2%)

ElectionGuy's best state was Wyoming, where he got 62.4% of the vote, and his worst state was Louisiana, where he got a dismal 6.5% of the vote. (besides DC; 2.3%)

Governor Jack Enderman (R-FL) - 269 EVs
Governor Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH) - 259 EVs
Senator ElectionsGuy (L-WI) - 10 EVs

The election ultimately resembles 1924. The more socially liberal of the two Republicans, Senator ElectionsGuy (L-WI), loses the Republican nomination to Governor Jack Enderman (R-FL) and decides to run on the Libertarian platform. Governor Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH) easily wins the Democratic nomination with small opposition.

While FitzGerald solidly appeals to his voters in the New England, Midwest, and Pacific areas as a economically and socially liberal, anti-war Democrat, he loses a lot of appeal from southern and voters out west which causes Enderman to carry a variety of those states along with ElectionsGuy narrowly being able to carry his home state of Wisconsin.

Governor Enderman's best state was West Virginia where he carried an unprecedented 78.5% of the vote to ElectionGuys 15.7% and Governor FitzGerald who only carried 6.5% for his unpopular agenda policies in the state to pass several pieces of gun control legislation including an assault weapons ban. Enderman attacked left much of the campaign here and won big.

Governor Adam FitzGerald's best state was in Rhode Island where he carried 71.2% of the vote. Enderman carried 17.9% of the vote there to ElectionsGuy 10.9%. Adam FitzGerald appealed mostly to those in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island while he barely got over 60% of Vermont voters.

Senator ElectionsGuy best state was in Wisconsin where he carried the state with 42.6% of the vote, Adam F. who carried 32.1%, and Jack E. who carried 25.3%. His campaign largely focused on attacking both candidates that one was running to far right while the other was running to far to the left.

Enderman ends up winning the popular vote, but nobody gets an electoral majority. The House narrowly picks Enderman as President-elect.

In order to win the election, Governor Jack Enderman (R-FL) is forced to cut a deal with Senator ElectionsGuy (L-WI) in order to win the House vote. ElectionsGuy concedes, pledging several Congressional delegations to him, pushing him over the top with 28 votes to Governor Adam C. Fitzgerald (D-OH)'s 23. In exchange, ElectionsGuy is appointed Secretary of the Treasury.

President Enderman's term goes fairly well until word leaks out that his campaign team had accessed information highly damaging to Governor Fitzgerald and other political adversaries of his. Despite pleading innocence President Enderman, as well as his Vice President and Secretary of State all resign. The Democratic Speaker of the House ascends to the presidency, and neglects to appoint a Vice President or Secretary of State for the time being. He keeps the rest of the Enderman cabinet on.

Two months into his term, an whistleblower revealed the new president had fabricated the Enderman scandal in order to orchestrate his own ascension to the presidency. Only 74 days after he took office, the president resigned. With no Vice President or Secretary of State, and with the incumbent Speaker of the House having been born a Canadian citizen, and the recent hospitalization of the Senate President Pro Tempore as a result of pneumonia, Secretary of the Treasury ElectionsGuy ascended to the presidency.

As a result of the extraordinary circumstances under which ElectionsGuy ascended to the presidency, his approval rating upon entering office are among the lowest ever recorded for a new president, around the mid-thirties. However his approval ratings quickly rose due to his appearance as a uniting figure in a time of national crisis, as the third president in three months.

However when election year began to draw near President ElectionsGuy made waves with his announcement to run for reelection, thought to be an impossibly tough challenge for the first third-party president since Millard Fillmore.

The Democrats quickly rallied behind previous runner up Governor Adam C. Fitzgerald of Ohio, and he took the nomination with ease.

Many Republicans chose to endorse President ElectionsGuy as he appeared to be their best hope of winning, but many Republicans refused to endorse him due to his liberal social views. Senator Pessimistic Antineutrino, considered a dark horse, won over a small field of candidates to win the Republican nomination.

Senator Pessimistic Antineutrino (R-NJ) - 187 EVs
Governor Adam C. Fitzgerald (D-OH) - 246 EVs
President ElectionsGuy (L-WI) - 105 EVs

Antineutrino wins traditional Republican strongholds in the South, in part due to him being the only non-social liberal in the race. His best state is Alabama, where he takes 55.8% of the vote.

Fitzgerald does will in traditional Democratic strongholds such as the Northeast, and has a strong presence in the Midwest, due to his hailing from Ohio. His strongest state (aside from DC) is Vermont, won with 57.2% of the vote.

ElectionsGuy does well in the West and Upper Midwest, and has pockets of support in the Northeast. He manages to narrowly win Pennsylvania in an almost even split between the three candidates. His best state is his home state of Wisconsin, won with 51.0% of the vote.

Vote splitting between the two conservative candidates gives Governor Fitzgerald pluralities in both the Electoral College and the popular vote. The election gets sent to the House, where after heavy gridlock, Governor Fitzgerald prevails. President ElectionsGuy leaves office as the first ever Libertarian president, and is viewed fondly in retrospect. Senator Antineutrino decides not to run again for president, but instead vouches for a Senate leadership position. President Fitzgerald sheds the memories of the House vote deadlock and begins his term with high support from both sides of the aisle.

President Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH)/Vice President IceSpear (D-PA) - 251 EVs
Senator Goldwater (R-WA)/Governor Jack Enderman (R-FL) - 254 EVs
Senator TNF (G-KY)/Governor PJ (G-OR) - 33 EVs

President Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH), had a very successful first term in office passing a number of pieces of legislation on his agenda including implementing strict gun control, increasing taxes on the rich, and maintaining a very pacifist approach to the war in Syria while starting to evacuate troops from Afghanistan with the help of his Democratic-controlled Congress.

However, TNF, a Democratic Senator from Kentucky who was embedled that President FitzGerald wasn't liberal enough on social issues decided to run to his left on the Green Party. Meanwhile, Republican Senator Goldwater of Washington state was dissatisfied with the incumbent President because he felt that he was too far to the left primarily on economic issues. He promised new hope for the middle class by promising tax breaks for everyone and securing a lock among a majority of independent voters for coming off as a fair moderate and the split of the lefty vote that took place.

In the end, Senator Goldwater wins the electoral and popular vote, but because no candidate got a 270 majority, the election was thrown to Congress where the newly elected GOP House of Representatives narrowly elects Goldwater as the next President. However, Democrats re-elect IceSpear as VP as they retain control of the U.S. Senate and through his first term as President block a number of Republican proposed bills.

Former President Adam C. FitzGerald (D-OH)/Senator JacobTiver (D-FL) - 272 EVs
President Goldwater (R-WA)/Former Governor Jack Enderman (R-FL) - 248 EVs
Senate Minority Whip Pessimistic Antineutrino (G/R-NJ)/ Mr. jmfcst (R-TX) - 18 EVs

President Goldwater (R-WA), throughout his first term, is constantly blocked in his efforts to pass legislation, with a Democratic Senate, almost evenly-split House, and a Democratic Vice President. With middling approval ratings his prospects for reelection are uncertain. However, he gets through the Republican primary practically unopposed and taps former Governor Jack Enderman (R-FL) as his running mate again.

The Democratic field fills up fast with little-known challengers eager to defeat the incumbent, but most major potential candidates decline. Their reasons for declining become obvious when popular former President Adam C. Fitzgerald enters the race, vying for a rematch of the previous election. Despite a rough start, losing both the Iowa and Nevada caucuses, he quickly establishes himself as the sole serious candidate in the Democratic primary. Despite wanting to pick Vice President IceSpear, he declines, not wanting to cause further disorder in the White House. He selects Senator JacobTiver (D-FL) instead.

The Green Party, with Senator TNF declining a rematch, is left without a standard-bearer. At the convention, the delegates agree to endorse former President Fitzgerald, but as a joke two bored delegates vote for Senate Minority Whip Pessimistic Antineutrino (R-NJ). The idea quickly gains traction and Antineutrino, despite being a fiscal conservative, a Republican, not being present at the convention and no longer harboring presidential ambition is selected as the Green Party nominee. Antineutrino continues his duties as Republican Whip, refusing to campaign and attempting to withdraw as candidate several times but to no avail. Antineutrino is quoted as saying, "I'm going to strangle those idiots that put me here. You know what- screw it. They nominated me so this is what they get." The next day he announced the exiled former activist jmfcst (R-TX) as his running mate, stating, "Happy now Green Party? Couldn't just go with Jill Stein couldn't you?"

As election day drew near Fitzgerald closed in on Goldwater in the polls, while Antineutrino held steady at 10%. On election day turnout was high with all three candidates garnering a fair amount of support. But ultimately Fitzgerald, benefiting from the high turnout and weak jobs report, pulled out narrow victories in Iowa and Virginia to take the election. Goldwater's approval ratings rose in the weeks after the election, and would be remembered as a would-be great president if he had Congress on his side. Fitzgerald entered his second and final non-consecutive term with a Democratic Senate and a newly-Democratic House, promising to repeat the success of his first term. Antineutrino, the subject of many Republicans' anger for potentially losing the election for Goldwater, remained Senate Minority Whip although weathering a stiff challenge from the conservative wing of his party.

Governor Malcolm X (D-Ohio)/Senator Bacon King (D-GA) - 260 electoral votes
President Pessimistic Antineutrino (R-NJ)/Vice-President TheRileyKeaton (R-WV) - 190 electoral votes
Senator Goldwater (L-WA)/Congressman Electionsguy (L-WI) - 88 electoral votes (because Libertarians are green in this universe Tongue )

In protest of the President's lurch to the right on social issues, popular Republican Senator Goldwater switches parties and runs for President on the Libertarian ticket.  The ensuing mess ensures that no one wins a majority in the electoral college.  Congress is controlled by the Democrats, but President-elect Malcolm X is assassinated at his inauguration by a confused member of the Nation of Islam after he read that Malcolm X was alive and about to become the first Jewish President.  Meanwhile, Vice-President-elect Bacon King resigns while high on weed and moves to Colorado.  Thus Speaker of the House Snowstalker of the True Leftist party is elevated to the presidency.  House Majority Leader and former Speaker Oakvale (D-MA) had allowed then-Congressman Snowstalker (TL-PA) to be Speaker for a day in exchange for the latter's pledge to permanently leave public office and resign from his safe seat at the day's end.  If only he knew...
