Man, that flaming liberal Dick Cheney.  Why wasn't he out there seeking the Green nomination thirteen years ago?

I like what Bush tried to do with compassionate conservatism. His foreign war/civil liberties suck but Cheney is just awful.

Even though he was a horrible president it's distinctly possible to like or at least kind of feel for Dubya the man. The gay marriage thing is the only aspect of Cheney's public persona that humanizes him even remotely. This isn't a hard choice.

I don't have much of a problem with Cheney, but otherwise this pretty much summarizes my opinion.

Bush may be stupid, but I know he loves America. Cheney only cares about his own interests.

Bush as  Governor of Texas was far less dangerous than Bush-Cheney co-Presidency.

Bush at least had some of the right idea during the 2000 campaign. Dick Cheney was never about not intervening.
