bushie file for bankruptcy instead of deciding how much of papa bushie's pay check you are going to take every month to service your debts.

your credit is in the toilet anyway.

And don't let him anywhere near CCs again! I'm sorry to say, but he'll just use them to fulfill every material or fleshly desire.

No self control.

Jeff, you really should get a job. At the very least part time stocking shelves or something like that. Something not mentally taxing, you will burn some calories, have some money coming in and get out and about a bit.

It have to start building back your life piece by piece my man.  You will end up ill equipped to even hold down that job you assume you will get after your completion of cad.

This may be too personal but why do you think your parents still allow you to seemingly take advantage of them? Tourettes?

The credit limit was $9,000 initially and then increased to 11,500.  It's just shy of maxed.  One card was a stupid move (the one that's being paid off next month) and the one already paid off was a retail card.

Tweed, last I checked $11k is in the tens of thousands!

And your parents are paying your credit card debt off?  Do they just pay the minimum payments for you or more?

What happens is I figure up my bills, how much I'll need, and then I send a request to Mom who controls the finances of the family and she sends me the requested amount on Dad's paydays.  Usually, I pay $300 instead of the $250 on the one credit card.  I don't like to pay just the bare minimum.  That gets you nowhere.  Now, by June 1, 2014 I will take over my bills once and for all as I should have a ~$40,000 job by then and should have more than enough to support myself and pay rent, utilities, etc.  Right now, I've got a running list of what I expect in way of finances both plusses and minuses through the end of the year and am about ready to project into January and February.

Wow... so not only are your parents paying for your porn, but they're paying the interest for your porn.  Heck, man... you've got such a sweet deal, no wonder you haven't changed.  Maxed out another credit card?  Aww shucks, we'll just go apply for another one and add that to the list of things for Mommy to give me money for!  You have no responsibility whatsoever.  There is no reason you should be having your parents pay the extra $50 a month (there's no reason they should be paying any of it, but if they're goal is to keep you from going into default, the $50 is superfluous).  Disgusting.  Absolutely disgusting.  At least Bernie Madoff didn't rip off his parents.

Oh, so now you're comparing me to Bernie Madoff, huh?  This is like the game limbo - "How low can you go."  It's starting to get funny!

Like an inter-office memo request?  I'd love to know the mechanics of how that works.

Chase.com has Quick Pay, where a Chase account can transfer money to another Chase account.

I don't think such jobs exist anymore, Bushie.

Actually, they do.

My credit will resurface in a couple years.  It's not completely in the toilet.  Bankruptcy is a stain on your credit the rest of your life.

This may be too personal but why do you think your parents still allow you to seemingly take advantage of them? Tourettes?

With as busy as I am in the evenings, with church, occasional baby sitting starting to come into play, completely revamping the church's website, I only have about 2 days during the week to do nothing.

I do plan on getting a really good job that pays at a bare minimum high 30's.  That's not a superfluous wish, either.  There is much precedent of draft students in the past several years.  I'm pulling a 94% in the class, and now have a 93% attendance record, so that's safe.  I'm grasping the concepts really quick and am almost 1/3 of the way through the entire program.  There is no reason I shouldn't get a good job.  On top of that, I have a goal to be down to 250 lbs by Thanksgiving.  I'm already down to 258.  It doesn't take much to get down further.  I'm starting to work on it, now, too.  Despite all my ailments, I'm in relatively good health.  I am nowhere near diabetes, surprisingly.  I only have slightly high cholesterol, barely high blood pressure, and arthritis.  I have felt really good the past two weeks.  I am definitely healthy enough to hold down a steady job.  My drive has been the main concern with the previous jobs.  With a program I like - CADD - I should have no problem with the drive and determination.  I enjoy going to class every morning and rarely have a moment I don't like during the day.  I get frustrated sometimes, but then I find what I'm looking for and say "Oh, Cool!"  Plus, right now, I am happy.  I take a step back and look at my life and I am happy with the direction my life is headed.  I'm getting a good education that should result in a good job.  I've got an overseas mission calling still on the horizon and I've got two beautiful children that I am happy to sponsor.  In fact, I am talking to Mom to see if we can support my daughter's school fees and such that she needs for the new school year that starts in January.  She is entering the 7th grade, and her caretaker told me while I was at her home that she needs school fees in October.  I think about $50-$60 worth.  That's what I pay extra on my credit cards.  It's not porn, it is supporting my kids.

Can't really remember.  I know I was duped into buying a phony cruise offer in 2009.  That was only $800.  I just kept spending and spending and spending.  This debt has been racking up since the account opened in 2007 shortly after I graduated college.

Bushie you just spent literally 48 hours straight sleeping and watching TV. Don't pretend you don't have time to get a job.

You watch ridiculous amounts of football and tv. You waste countless hours here and you can't pick up a shift doing something?  This isn't summer camp. You have to start living in the real, adult world where we don't always feel like doing things but forge ahead and do them anyway. Next, You really have to temper your expectations from life.  Again, this isnt the big rock candy mountain.

You have to learn consistency and discipline or you will fail again. These skills don't appear overnight because you wish them.  If you fail the pattern holds that you will be on to your next fantasy. However, hate to be a bummer eventually your Grandma, Mom and Dad will pass and you will have to support yourself. You should focus on that first before some wish fulfillment Kenya lark. Additionally  the fact that you don't have diabetes isnt an attaboy moment. You are in your early 30's that is a default.

Also, it's not like babysitting, revamping the church's website, and going to children's birthday parties are fixed responsibilities that you can't get out of.  There's nothing to stop you from taking a part time job, and then working the rest of your social life (and TV watching) around that.

Shouldn't be a problem for you, considering your life expectancy.
