Design A - 6 2/3
Design B - 5 2/9
Design C - 9 4/9

Design C has been adopted as the logo of the Progressive Union.

All we still need is a platform -- so submit some planks, everyone!

Hooray for the new logo!!!!
Below is the rough draft of my suggested energy platform plank.

Energy Self-Sufficiency
-    Supports an all energy policy approach, although we do believe that alternatives are the most preferred approach. We call on the ending of all government subsidies to fossil fuel industries.
-   Supports the “Green Government Challenge” which calls for 50% of all energy consumed by Government to come from Alternative Energy (Wind/Solar/Hydro/Bio-Mass) with 5 years.
-   Believes that the production of methane from human and animal waste is an untapped energy resource. We also believe that waste to power plants (WPPs) should be installed to replace outdated coal plants.
-   With the consent of the regional governments, we will support limited drilling operations both on and offshore that are not environmentally damaging.
-   We will support a individual green energy tax free year, for one year, Atlasians will be able to purchase wind turbines, solar panels, WPP, insulation, energy efficient appliances and light bulbs for homes without tax.
-   We will also move to bring a national green energy for transportation conversion scheme. The NGETCS will give loans to gas stations to convert stations to accommodate green energy vehicles.

Another platform idea
Workers Rights
-   All genders should be allowed 1 month paid parental leave.
-   Unions should have the right to exist; we believe that Unions can serve as a vital tool in helping secure rights for employees. However, we do believe that those who are not members of a union have the same right to work as unionized workers.
-   No employee can be fired from the work for reasons based on religion, sex, race, creed, sexual orientation/identity, marital status, or family income.

I would like for the Progressive Union to strongly consider endorsing SirNick and me in the Presidential election - regardless of party status. I've shown myself to be a responsible, active leftist open to compromise, and I think I would represent you well. If you have any questions, ask. Smiley

I would also like to toss my proverbial hat into the ring for this party's endorsement. While I may not be a member, I have a strong record of activity, results, and success in my time in this game, and the ability to resurrect and engage the public, something that is desperately needed during these hard times. My running mate shares these qualities with me.

I think we should start voting on a city and endorse someone for President, whether it be DemPGH, Bacon King, or Duke.

I want to make the case as well for the Midwest, GAworth and I are already working there as Representative and Governor, and I guess the place is always neglected (save for the Labor convention), so I would like to see Bismarck, North Dakota on the list.
