Brown.  I would only vote Nixon if I had the hindsight of the governorship somehow preventing his presidency.

Nixon, although I wouldn't be too keen on a former VP downgrading himself to a governor.

It's nothing compared to downgrading from Senator to VP.

Pat Brown although Nixon isn't a bad choice even if he'd better at handling foreign policy then governing a state

Brown easily.  Pat Brown was actually decent, unlike his crazy "I love flat taxes and cutting important programs but I'm a hippie so I must be a liberal so vote for me " son.

I have a soft spot for Nixon, the man, despite the fact that he is the second most evil man to ever reside in the White House.

Brown, of course.

It's very unfortunate he didn't win a third term in '66.

That, and preventing Reagan from becoming governor.

Good point, although Senators serve at the federal level (albeit statewide.)  That's what Hubert Humphrey did, right?

Nixon the politician was awful. But Nixon's emotional and mental state mirrors my own life, in many ways. Especially the deep introversion, though I suppose he may have been more introverted seeing as how I have the ability to discuss it publically.
