Opinion of taco sauce

obviously as a Texan I have no idea what it is, but it's an abomination.

Horrible because it's so bland, but tacos with unseasoned beef can be just as bad.

For my tacos, I like to chop up jalapenos or hatch green chile, add a little garlic powder, onion powder, and some cornmeal to keep the meat from drying out.  Spicy and juicy.

Now that I know what he's talking about, I'll say FF.  I grew up on Old El Paso on my burritos and tacos as a kid, although now I enjoy real salsa (as does my family), and I couldn't tell you the last time (other than for a cheap college party) that I bought Old El Paso.

That being said, FF out of a nostalgic feeling for my childhood.

Despite living just across the freeway from the Mexican part of town and countless taquerias, I don't eat tacos. Mexican food doesn't agree with me.

Taco sauce is basically like really bad, bland salsa where they poured in some more vinegar and cumin... blech
