Awful. I much prefer Walmart or Publix.

Good stuff.  Fresh produce.  We see them when we're on vacation in Florida, where they also have Publix.  Both WD and Publix are definitely overpriced, but they have good produce and meat specials.  There was also one when we lived in Columbus.  It was the only high-end store in that city.  There was also a Kroger there, which was the nasty store.  We didn't shop at either one often.  Winn-Dixie was expensive and Kroger was just too nasty, so we usually did our shopping at the Super Wal-mart there.  I always found Winn-Dixie to be clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with good food.

Here, there's a chain of Giant stores, as well as many Weis stores and a few Stauffer's.  Weis is overpriced, but unlike Winn-Dixie, it has a nasty, not-so-clean feel.  Stauffer's is fabulously overpriced, but it also has a garden section, which is unusual.  We go there if we're looking for a ficus tree or something like that.  We go to Giant more often.  Actually, the only stores we go to regularly are ALDI and the Asian Markets, and of course the liquor store.

By and large, yes, though there are ones in GA, AL, LA, and MS as well.

Anyways, I haven't had much of a reason to go there, largely because of Publix.

I think my daughter shops at one in New Orleans.....but I can't remember minor details like that.  If it's the right chain I'm thinking she likes it.
