Final Campaign Statement

Hello fellow Pacificans!

In this Regional Senate race, we have two very qualified candidates, and I know it is very difficult to choose. However, I very strongly believe that I bring the legislative know-how and activity worthy of a Senate seat.

During my time as Governor, the Pacific has been on a massive, 3-faceted upswing.

1) Unemployment is down. The Pacific Region extended the Hiring Incentive tax credits for companies up to 200 people large (the federal government only chose to provide tax credits for companies with up to 50 people). The region's unemployment rate has fallen 0.6%, as well. 

2) Activity is up. During my term as Governor, the Pacific passed more legislation per day than during any other two-month period in the history of the region, and I sponsored the vast majority of that legislation.

3) We have a new regional constitution on the way, which oakvale and I crafted to replace the horrid Third Pacific Constitution.

I strongly believe I represent the Pacific's best chance at sending an active, legislatively-minded Senator to the federal government in the name of the Pacific, and I hope you agree. Take a Stand, and Vote for Tyrion!

Yes, that's how the constitution is written. However, I would like to see a mandate from the people for PJ (and I don't doubt that he would get it, too). In the new Constitution, there will be none of this appointment silliness, because Oakvale may have chosen the new Governor simply through appointment. While PJ would pretty clearly be the front-runner for Governor anyway, it's a silly system.

Statement

I would like to thank my opponent Superique for running a close, fair, kind, and tightly-contested race for the Pacific Senate seat.

At risk of writing a speech that no one would ever read, I would like to thank those who voted for me. Today represents an important turning point in Atlasia's history, and I'd like to reward the voters' faith in me by bringing the same zeal and legislative know-how from my time as Governor to all of my future endeavors.

I will refrain from saying more for fear of the results not yet being finalized. Questions are welcome.
