Oops, if your reading this choose 1 option.

This thread inspired me to do this, I might do a poll on this for other states that have Senators of the same party. I'll probably do California later. I'll have a hard time deciding between these two, I honestly like them both (unpopular opinion) but while i like Cornyn as a whole, I like Cruz because he has the guts to speak what needs to to be spoken much of the time, but at the same time lets out some ridiculous comments. I know what this forum will vote for, but by what margin?

I disagree with Cornyn less than I do Cruz. However, I respect Cruz more. He has more backbone and more nerve. Cornyn lets Cruz lead him around on a leash and he's scared of the Tea Party.

Cruz. Though it would be awesome to see a certain worship leader from Kansas City return to her home state and primary Cornyn (cough Misty Edwards cough) or even better if Ron Paul took another shot at the senate.

Oldies... why do you think both Cornyn and Cruz are horrible?

These are terrible options. Cornyn by default because he's less McCarthyesque - Cruz does have my grudging respect for sticking to his principles (unlike Cornyn), but they're awful.

Both are equally awful in my opinion. Cornyn is a relic of the Bush-era neoconservatives and Cruz is way too partisan and his actions are similar to Joe McCarthy's.

I like Cruz better because he makes the GOP look worse and he's probably going to run for president someday, and will fail badly.
