Yeah, In the first map the red states are where LBJ got higher then 61.05% of the vote.

Interesting. Assuming a uniform swing, FDR would have had to outperform the popular vote by four percent to make that happen.

Talk about an interesting map, if a candidate got something like this nowadays it would be really bizarre.  He wasn't the Republican in South Dakota, Roosevelt was the candidate, hence the grey.
