The problem is, there are 5-6 years to go before the 2nd Republic kicks in, and we might well have one election each year until that point. Tongue

That's one of the two options I'm considering, yes. The other one is PCI-PSI-Greens, though none of these options would exactly work well.

1989 to 1991 in an Italy where the PCI is the largest party should be fun, even if this Italian political spectrum is different enough from the real one that being the largest party doesn't really mean what it otherwise might.
