I'd like to propose a compromising immigration bill since right now I understand my party is trying to hold things up due to not cracking down on immigration crime and illegal immigrants.

One crime committed by an illegal alien is one too many.
Federal failure on immigration has forced states to compensate.
Make English our national language.
More funding for schools to teach English to immigrants who are poor in English.
Keep rule barring immigrants from running for president.
Share costs of illegal immigration between federal and states.
No amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Patrol our border with armed guards as we've been doing.
Build a fence along the Mexican border.
Federal government should deal with criminal reparation in regards to illegal immigrants.
Import farm workers from Mexico to help small farmers save costs.
Expand our Guest Worker Program with Mexico.
Give guest workers a path to citizenship.
Allow immigrants to participate in social security and Medicaid prior to becoming citizens.
Rounding up and detaining 20,000,000 people who are here illegally is unrealistic and mean.
Speed up the process to becoming a legal citizen.
The biggest problem with immigration is that bureaucrats are slow at paper work.
Immigration helps our economy so we should be encouraging it.
Allow non-citizens to apply for driver's licenses in the U.S. to encourage tourism.

I would support this, mainly because there isn't an amnesty proposal for illegal immigrants.

Yea amnesty would only legalize the citizenship of terrorists. Remember the 9/11 hijackers were here on "student visas." No need to make the problem any worse.
