San Diego, the city of my birth. That's an easy question. It has some of the best weather anywhere in the world.

How is NoVA winning this so handily?  San Diego is awesome and has the best weather in the country, bar none.

The weather is why I voted NoVa. I like having seasons. Leafs changing, snow and putting an extra blanket on your bed in November.

I've been to San Diego on several occasions...it seemed kind of dull to me.   But maybe that's because I spent most of my time in Chula Vista, so maybe I'm not giving it a fair shot.  And I prefer distinct seasons over a generic, arid sunny climate that lasts all year.

I also think most people are voting NoVA because Arlington and Alexandria are great places to live and work.

I would just live in Arlington and spend all my time in DC.

San Diego, without a doubt, but I could deal with NoVa.

Right now?  NoVa, so I could continue in my PhD program.  In the future?  San Diego, because UCSD's language/cog sci people have an excellent reputation.

Both terrible places, but NoVa is closer to non-terrible places.
