I've not seen Hitler Fried Chicken, but then I don't go to Bangkok often.  Generally Thais are quite pro-Hitler, or rather, they don't view Hitler with such a knee-jerk poo-pooing as Westerners.

You have to admit, it does look like the Colonel, and it is a rather iconic image.

From what I've read, in certain parts of Asia, Hitler is sort of treated the same way Americans treat Che Guevara (though obviously Che was a FF instead of a HP): they don't really know that much about him, just that he was a dynamic and iconic historical personality with a recognizable face, and so they put his face up on things without really understanding his historical significance.

That image doesn't really make me think of Hitler, it makes me think of that band Sparks:

Yep, same goes for Korea:

Thought the logo at the bottom said "Ron Paul" for a split second.

Have any of you New York fellows eaten at Obama Fried Chicken in Brooklyn? I'm sure the House GOP is investigating the connection to Hitler as we speak.

It was closed a few months after that article due to health code violations. Sad

I never eat at those fried chicken/burger restaurants (there are a few around my apartment in Harlem); they seem super sketchy. I also don't really like fried chicken.

I like fried chicken skin - they sell it in bags here.  Fried chicken itself, meh, I do like it sometimes but only very rarely.  Interesting fact - chicken skin is very healthy!

But I meant to say - about the health code violations closing, I assume you meant Obama Chicken, because as far as I know I never heard of any health codes in Thailand (thank Buddha!).

Places get shut down by the health department in New York? Crazy! It's technically possible here, but I've never known it to actually happen. But restaurants here always look a lot cleaner than those in New York. And, of course, we have only a tiny fraction of your immigrants who are unfamiliar with the health code system.
