My plan is to fast track this to a final vote.

Keep in mind that Amendments are excluded from this present slot (number 5), and most of the bills that come after it of major importance Nix has slotted for DemPGH's care.

Senators have 24 hours to object to unanimous consent to supend the rules (cloture and minimum debate time) and proceed immediately to a final vote.

I intend to veto this as an act of protest against dull, anodyne bills that provoke no debate, interest, or passion and waste the Senate's time.

If that's how you're going to use your veto power, it looks like I'm in for another long four months. Undecided

I don't want this bill to pass either. I just don't agree that bills should automatically be vetoed just because they're "dull."

Wait a second, I urge the Senators to reconsider the use of tabling.

I can have this to a vote at four or clock tomorrow with UC. Why the hell woudl you want to pursue a tabling vote and increase the threshold to the defeat the bill?

Tabling is typically one of the most inneffective means to get rid of a bill. It is pay day lender of the Senate.

I motion for Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines to be the national anthem of Atlasia. After all, Atlasia blurs the lines between fantasy and reality every day! Wink

I still want something by Pink Floyd. Because from what I gather from this place, drugs and insanity go hand in hand. Tongue

Seeing no objection the rules are suspended, a final vote is now open on the underlying legislation, Senators please vote, Aye, Nay or Abstain.
