Is that an official statement? If the Midwest is dropping the claim on New Mexico, I'll drop my bill from the federal queue.

Well, not really, this has to pass the Althing and then a vote from the citizens, given that we are changing our Constitution. Should the Althing or the people reject this, I'm afraid that the claim will stay.

Hrm, well I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and just wait.

Thanks Senator, hopefully our citizens will be able to make a final decision very soon.

This is something I came up with after Superique's suggestion. When the bill makes it to the floor, I would like a lot of feed back from everyone. I think I covered my bases but I am not sure.

I want this comment in no way to be seen as an official rule proposal but merely a way for my disorganized self to stay organized.

Can we have a post that has all of the legislation currently being debated and legislation that will be up next. Thanks!

Well: I want Midwest Teacher pay raise and Midwest 2014 budget to pass before the end of the year. Then, take a break until 1st december.
After:
1) President pro tempore's election + Chief Justice's confirmation
2) Your bills

I'm posting this bill here for a member of the Althing to sponsor, if they wish to do so.

I understand the need for a pause and a small legislative holiday, but after five days I think we should resume our work as soon as possible. We have less than a month before the election and the new Alþing, and we have a lot to discuss.

Bump, with the Althing election in less than three weeks, I don't want to see so many bills without discussion, so I think we really need to start discussing all these projects. And Cris and Arturo, please, I need you to start making more appearances, even if you support the bills, at least state it.

Would someone be willing to sponsor this? And yes, this is based off of Liz Warren's bill.

I apologize. To clarify, employers cannot discriminate against workers or those applying for a job based on their credit score, under this law.
