gay marriage? support; I agree with Dibble, civil unions for everyone would be preferable.

abortion? support legal abortion up to 5 months, otherwise illegal
except for extreme cases. increase education about abortion alternatives.

legalized gambling? support

prostitution? support legalization with strong regulation (licensing, mandatory STD tests, etc.)

prayer in school? it should be legal, but not led by school employees. no mandatory prayer

school uniforms? oppose

drug legalization? favor marijuana legalization for those age 18 and above (alcohol age lowered to 18 as well), reduce penalties for hard drug use. concentrate on drug sellers more than drug users

gun control? support generally, depends on the specifics. guns that have a legitimate hunting/sporting/self-defense purpose should be legal but regulated

affirmative action? oppose race-based, support socioeconomic based

speed limits? favor raising most of them

death penalty? mostly opposed, except in extreme cases

mandatory minimum sentencing? opposed, generally. there should be some minimums, but it should be mostly left up to jurors and judges.

Gay marriage: Support.
Abortion: Support for the first trimester.
Legalized gambling: Support.
Prostitution: Support.
Prayer in school: Oppose if organized and led by school officials.  Support if private.
School uniforms: No reason for the government to get involved here.
Drug legalization: See Alcon's answer.
Gun control: Oppose (within reason; I would prefer citizens not be able to buy tanks, fighter jets, and nuclear weapons).
Affirmative action: Oppose.
Speed limits: Support.
Death penalty: Oppose.
Mandatory minimum sentencing: Support, in general.  The problem lies in what the minimum sentences are, not in the idea of minimum sentencing itself.

gay marriage? I support and believe in Civil Unions and states rights in this issue.
abortion?  Support Partial-Birth Abortion ban but not total ban.
legalized gambling? Support
prostitution?  I think it should be legal. As George Carlin has said if ing is legal and selling is legal then why is selling ing illegal.
prayer in school?  Depends. Not forced prayer or "moments of silence" every morning but if a person or group of people wants to pray in school so be it.
school uniforms? Don't really have an opinion. Personally do not like them.
drug legalization? Support Pot Legalization no legalization of harder drugs.
gun control? VERY OPPOSED
affirmative action? Oppose although I do believe some economic affirmative action may be necessary. Definitely do not support race-based affirmative action.
speed limits? Opposed actually. I believe that, especially on federal interstates and highways, that you should be able to go as fast as you want. It's worked in Germany it can work in the US.
death penalty? Support
mandatory minimum sentencing? Don't know enough about the topic.

That could end up as one of the biggest disasters in terms of policy. I enjoy safe roads. I also can't stand when people use "well it worked there, why can't it work here?"

Gay Marriage
I would like to see the abolishing of marriage as a federal institution and put civil unions in it's place. Leave marriage up to the religions. Being that this likely has no chance of happening I just support gay marriage for now.

Abortion
Personally I think it's wrong but I don't feel it is for the government to decide. Therefore I am pro-choice, however I would like to see the states deal with it.

Legalized Gambling
Support. Let people do with their money as they wish.

Prostitution
Personally I don't care what other people do with their lives, such as buying a hooker so I'm for legalization, although I would like to see it regulated in some way perhaps by private brothels and cathouses.

Prayer in school
I oppose forced prayed in public school however private school is a different matter.

School Uniforms
Oppose for public schools, let private schools do as they wish.

Drug Legalization
Support for Marijuana, against legalization of hard drugs such as cocaine and heroin.

Gun Control
Oppose.

Affirmative Action
Oppose.

Speed Limits
Leave it up to the states and local governments.

Death Penalty
Leave it to the states. Personally support.

Mandatory Minimum Sentencing
Oppose.

So, I can drive down the road as fast as I like, and very likely run over your family, but I can't pay someone for sex in the privacy of my own rooms.  Obviously hazardousness to you is not the criteria you use to judge the acceptability of my behaviour!

abortion?  Personally opposed but recognize need for keeping it legal.

legalized gambling? support

gun control?  I support some weapon control.  There are certain weapons which should not be available to the public and others which should be.

affirmative action? Support to a degree.

gay marriage  -support

abortion -support keeping it safe, legal, and rare

legalized gambling -support

legalized prostitution -support

school uniforms -depends

school prayer -if mandated by the state or led by teachers, i would strongly and unalterably oppose it. if it is truly voluntary and led by students, i would support it on condition that other faiths like Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Wicca (among others) be allowed to pray on school grounds.

drug legalization -i support legalizing marijuana in both its medicinal value as well as for recreational use, as well as using treatment instead of punishment for first time and repeat drug users.  i would not support support en masse legalization of all drugs outside 'soft drugs' like marijuana or LSD, or acid.

gun control -should be left up to each locality to decide.

affirmative action -i would support if its emphasis were placed on socio-economic background instead of race.

speed limits -support

death penalty -oppose

manadatory minimum sentencing -oppose

gay marriage? oppose.  I do support limited civil unions though.

abortion?  oppose.  I feel life begins at conception.  I also dont want to see back alley abortions either.  If elected to office I probably wouldn't make it 100% illegal but I would make it extremely more difficult than it is now.

legalized gambling?  support.  I love to gamble on occasion.  Horses, dogs, Cockroaches, Nascar.  It really makes no difference to me.

prostitution?  keep it illegal on the streets.  I'd look into the method of licensed brothels in areas far from schools, churches etc
prayer in school?  oppose generally.  If you want to pray in school go to a parochial school.
school uniforms? up to the district.  I did not mind them but I don;t really see that much benefit in public school.
drug legalization? support decriminalization of marijuana. Many drug laws have failed miserably and are racist if not in design then in effect.  I would keep most drugs illegal but we have really been wasting a lot of money and resources on the prosection of the drug war.
gun control? support some forms.  I take a common sense approach.  Most handguns are fine with me but I see no reason that some guy needs an AK 47.  I don;t care how much fun it is to shot it.
affirmative action? oppose.  Misguided and misapplied effort.  Spending more money on education in low income schools would be a lot better than this debacle.
speed limits? support.  Soccer mom in a Range Rover going 100 while doing her makeup or talking on a cell phone.  No thanks.
death penalty? support.  Hang em high
mandatory minimum sentencing? Oppose for most crimes- Support for Rape, Murder 1, pedophilia or treason (death or life).  People make mistakes and stupid decisions they should be punished but it should fit the crime. I do support 3 strikes and your out programs.  If you are that bad at impulse control that you commit even the most petty of crimes three times then you belong in jail.

abortion -support keeping it safe, legal, and rare

Is it safe for the child that is killed?  NO

Does it matter how rare it is, when it only has to happen once to take a life forever?  NO

The phrase "safe, legal, and rare" is total bullsh*t.  If a women is stupid enough, and this does take genuine stupidity, to try to preform an abortion on herself, that's one less stupid person using our air. One less person who couldn't follow the time honored adage of "keep your legs closed".  If you want an abortion, take yourself with your child and rid us of your presence.

And who cares how rare it is.  Each time produces a death, so why not ban it all the time. Prevent all deaths.  Or how about at the very least make the procedure slightly humane before you destroy the child's life and maybe, just maybe, give them a sedative.  I'm pretty sure some whackos would want me to burn if started ripping pieces of skin and muscle off my dog, so why is it legal to do to a human.  Why do they give the dog chemicals to kill them, instead of taking them in the back and hacking them apart.

Oh yeah,  and since when is acid a "soft" drug.  Give me a break.
