You'll have to define each one.

A combination of state capitalist and bureaucratic collectivist.

But yeah, you should define them if you want a serious debate.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Bureaucrat collectivist for the most part, but definitions would help. (I think folks who comment in this thread are going to be more or less unanimous in this.)

I'd like your definitions for each, but probably options 4 and 5 with a flimsy facade of option 1 which gave an excuse to be an incompetent dictatorship.

I don't have time to summarize each right now, but this short paper may be helpful.

Bureaucratic Collectivist doesn't strike me as a description of the class character of the Soviet Union.

Whilst growing up we analysed the USSR collapse and the reasons for it (as I previously states I grew up in a MAPAM home, it was the Marxist party of Israel).
The bottom line of the analysis and the reason for the collapsed were already outlined in our party convention of 1968: the combination of state capitalism with a bureaucratic mechanism that choked true socialist efforts, with the going continuation of the dictatorship of the proletarian,  the democratic socialist phase was just evaporated from soviet planning (against original Leninist plans) .

You have no idea how many times I've unvoluntarily been in this debate. I always kind of run away.

This, and the "should the assault on Winter Palace have been voted on with secret ballot or hand raising ?" usual kind-of-funny-but-still-serious-and-I-will-kill-you-if-you-don't-agree-with-me debate.

Sigh, trotskyists...
