I'd like to say that we have to have a huge debate on this bill. It seems to me that such a Libertariam approach is not the best regarding Marijuana! Perhaps a mix of the Uruguayan Approach with the Dutch one could be better for the sanity of Pacifican Citizens.

Marijuana is already legal. I don't think there is a tax on it though. I would prefer it to be lower. At least make the age and tax rates for both marijuana and alcohol to be equal.

That was something that I was wondering as well! :/

Does Marijuana have any Federal Tax?

I think this bill needs to be replaced with a flat 10% GST on all items sold.

I agree and that is why we need a budget.

I think we can prepare finally prepare to propose that one big budget and include the GST tax in it. Just amend the bill to scrap the legal language since it is already taken care of it and then I can sign it and we can take care of the big boy.

I still wouldn't mind keeping the region tax. We could use the revenue from it though of course we got to lower it with the federal tax. Would you guys want the ages to be 18 or 21?

Yeah there shouldn't be a problem with that. The GST and this will be a part of our budget along with other things passed before this session. This GST will address other goods that are not addressed in other legislation.

Well, I'm ok on going straightforward to the budgetary issue. I call every councillior (solopop) to vote rapidly in favor of the Extraordinary Budget Committee!
