The hotel and food wasn't on my nickel.  She paid for the gas.  The answer I got was that it would take 2 semesters depending on class availability to complete the degree.  I probably definitely could have gotten the information over the phone, but I wanted to see my old college town get away from my parents and watch some porn.

Honest Bushie.

You don't have any nickels.  You're unemployed.  Even if you did have money of your own, a real man who loved his family would pay back his parents for the money he stole from them to pay for his porn before he went on a fun trip that he wanted to make solely to see his own college town.  Be honest, this was just an excuse to make a trip.  Talking to professors was about .000000000000000001% of this trip, since you could've done that over the phone.

Attack will go unanswered. I'm headed home.

Who did you actually speak to Bushie and for how long? It sounds like this lasted all of five minutes.

Wasn't an attack.  It was objective truth.  It's not normal/healthy to take money from your parents to buy porn and then turn around and instead of paying them back for it, take more money to go on a trip that's 99.99999999999999999999999% just for fun.

He probably went to some secretariat/office and talked to the person at the desk for 2 minutes.

Right.  You can't have a meaningful conversation about education/career/future, etc. in 5 minutes.

If only his Facebook friends knew about the porn... then the floodgates would REALLY open.  It's like when Bushie tells me he won't allow me to ruin his good name.  The only "good name" he has for himself is the one he created by lying to people.

He clearly just wanted to get away from his parents for a night. I kind of feel bad for him, but he's basically the personification of a snake oil preacher now. He preaches in church on Sunday and spends the rest of the week watching porn, defrauding his parents, and loving on kids, all in the name of god.

Packaged ramen tastes awful. Actual ramen? That stuff's delicious.

Yes, I have had the real stuff before, there's nothing in common with that junk they sell in packages.  Delicious..

Good Tuesday Evening!  I found out this morning that I can indeed upgrade my Computer Science minor to a major.  I need 21 hours to finish the upgrade and depending on the course availability, I should get it done in 2 semesters.  I have looked at the Computer Science Course Rotation and I should be able to get it done in 2 semesters.  I am going to call the vo-tech tomorrow morning and ask the counselor if they offer CAD-Mechanical.  Right now, I am signed up for CAD-Architecture.  If I can't get CAD-Mechanical, as its not on the website, then I will probably get my Application for Readmission to NWOSU started Thursday.

Here is another big benefit to going back to Alva when it comes to my plans for the Peace Corps and/or Kenya.  I will doing a lot more walking as I'll be walking to class every day and it wouldn't be much to turn it from a walk to class to a 30 minute walk around campus before or after class.  If I decide to go to McDonald's for a meal, it's a good 10 minute walk one way to McDonald's, so at least I could work off "some" of my food, maybe 100-200 calories if I don't turn it into a walk around campus.  I could still apply for the Peace Corps this fall like planned and I may stand a better shot of actually being invited to join the Peace Corps in both education and health.

Yes, but I could not have said goodbye to my missionary friends who won't be back until Christmas 2014.  Since I was already in the area, it didn't take much more to spend the night.

Lol. All you needed to know was the number of hours needed to get a comp science major? That could've been found online!

Yes, as we all know, it's impossible to walk to the McDonalds or anywhere else you live now.  It being Alva makes it all possible.

I sounds great that you have made a decision (even if there is still a "probably"). Next step is to stick to it and don't have too many balls in the air at one time.

So your priorities now are:

1. CAD-Mechanical, if available
2. Upgrading to Computer Science major, if possible in 2 semesters

I think you should put the Peace Corps dream on hold until you have accomplished one of these goals. Also 2 semesters is likely the maximum you can handle, both financially and otherwise, so drop the upgrade if there is any doubt as to whether you can do it in 2 semesters.

It's right across from the Administration Building - Herod Hall.  It's about a half a block further east than it was when I went there.

Those are my two priorities in the same order.  I might add a number 3 - CAD-Architecture if neither mechanical or the upgrade are available.

I will have to have a job by next summer, so two semesters is about all I could do.

That's not a bad idea on the Peace Corps.
