Note to you: the "I'm older than you! Wah!" barb is as unoriginal as any comeback available on the internet.

Oh, no, no, no. It's not about the number being the issue; it's the maturity or lack thereof. I just mentioned the number because you're more likely to improve as you grow a little older. Don't have such a stick up your rear over it. Smiley

But you're the antithesis of e-maturity.

The right really needs to drop Benghazi. They're manipulating the deaths of four Americans for political gain. Does anyone really think they care about Ambassador Stevens and the three others that died? Of course they don't. If this happened under Bush (or any Republican President,) they probably wouldn't have even brought it up to begin with. Tasteless.

When I quickly saw your username, I thought you were Bacon King. I read your post and was greatly concerned. I was shocked BK would say something so asinine. I was relieved to realize it was a child and not him.

He's exactly right and you can't deny it.

Ok, you convinced me! You're good.

You also have made no attempt to debunk his point.

Why should he have?  At least KP had the sense to realize that BBV is as immune to persuasion as he is.  The interaction of KP, BBV, and Wyodon in this thread reminds me of the adage that to find the intelligence of a mob, take the IQ of the smartest member and divide by the number of people in it.

Yes, let's continue the "No, you are!" then point fingers at each other over lack of maturity. Smiley

I didn't make the "point" that he's refusing to debunk. But yeah, totally.

Wyodon is a good friend and poster and Phil has also contributed a lot.

I agree with this, though.

It seems like there *might* be more here than we originally heard about last autumn.

This is the real strategy, everyone: Say it enough times, and the Moderate Heroes will assume there's a story.

I just like how this whole thread exploded because I said something, and then Phil started insulting me and then Wyo started insulting Phil and then everyone started insulting everyone else.

Whether Benghazi means anything or not, one thing is for certain: It is not going to end Obama's term. If we are going to impeach him on anything,  we might as well go after the Fast and Furious angle. Keep in mind, ourr intervention in Libya is the exact reason Benghazi happened.

Huckabee isn't a politician anymore. So it's not really surprising that he has dropped all pretense that he is talking seriously.

On the contrary, this is some excellent politicing by Huckabee.  He's now promised his viewership that staying faithful to the GOP will result in an Obama impeachment.

I wonder if any FOX shows have brought in weekend contributor Oliver North to discuss the potential ramifications of this unprecedented deadly lie by a Presidential administration.

Benghazi isn't anything like Watergate. Worst case scenario for Obama is it becomes his secret bombing of Cambodia, or Iran-Contra Scandal, lack of WMD's in Iraq.

You know, the things that Presidents got away with.

It's not even comparable to the latter three. Benghazi was pretty much this: terrorists attacked and killed 4 Americans. The State Department screwed up in not getting them enough protection. Obama and his national security team decided to be cautious in the response and it backfired. There was no malicious intent or illegal actions. There were no broken laws. Did it expose problems in security in dangerous countries? Yes. Is the Obama Administration attempting to fix it now? Yes.

It's better for the memories of those who died if we moved on, stop the blame game and trying to punish people. It's insulting to them. Their families want closure and the Republicans still playing this Benghazi game won't give it to them. They're too obsessed with blaming Obama and trying to politically gain from it.

Oh and Huckabee, a Republican majority will not impeach Obama. You need a 2/3 votes majority vote to convict. Not a single Democrat will vote to impeach or convict Obama on Benghazi. Even if Republicans pick up 10 seats in the Senate impeachment will not happen. Actually read the Constitution next time perhaps.

They're so desperate to complete the Reagan-FDR, Bush Sr.-Truman, Clinton-Eisenhower, Bush Jr-JFK/LBJ, Obama-Nixon analogy.  And maybe it's better that way, because if we continue on that path, a moderate Republican will barely win in 2016, followed by an uber-liberal Democrat in 2020.

Suggesting that the President might be assassinated is a tad hyperbolic.
