As someone who has never enjoyed a Superman movie (or Smallville even), I'm actually quite excited for this movie. In fact, I haven't looked forward to a movie this much since Cloud Atlas. I really hope they don't mess it up; I really, really prefer this new DC-Nolan-realistic-and-gritty superhero genre to the slapstick Marvel movies.
