Beet already posted about this, but I just noticed one of the authors of the rebuttal was from Evergreen. I find that quite shocking; I didn't know they did serious work there!

Great story this.  High debt levels given social stability and good growth prospects due to natural resources or whatever is more sustainable when those elements are absent. So the debate shall continue.
