I've worked harder than anybody else at tracking down and getting rid of socks.  It's a bit sad that you don't appreciate that.

Of course I can take a joke... but over the past year or so, I've come to see you for what you really are.  I see through the act now.  I've noticed the patterns.  Why you try so hard to be who you are on this forum doesn't make sense to me, but hey, if you're having fun, I guess that's what's important.  But eventually, you'll slip up majorly again, and I'm done with encouraging leniency for you.  Quite honestly, I've been done doing that for a while now.

I find it odd that Inks continues to insist that Bushie should get a job and take responsibility for himself when it's obvious that the poor wretch doesn't have that capability. Someone with Bushie's mental health issues is of no use to any employer - Inks himself has acknowledged this - and ought to be a ward of the state.

As for whether the Update Thread would be better without Inks' contributions, who cares? It's cesspool of exploitative entertainment. Anyone who reads it regularly (myself included) shouldn't feel morally superior to Inks.

I will state, again, one of the reasons why I admire BRTD; I don't care what they say. He is able to take all the slings and arrows thrown his way (probably more than any other poster these days bar none, now that JJ has ceased being viewed as an easy target to abuse - and JJ by the way, has shown outstanding dignity and sangfroid too from the day I first joined you here), with dignity, and often good humor. And you know what? We would all be happier if BRTD's (and JJ's) example were more often followed around here. Really.

Yes, he did.  But he hasn't responded to emails about moderators, or adding or subtracting moderators in ages.  We were only able to get Torie added as a mod to Individual Politics by threadjacking a thread that Dave was reading.  And that was about six months after the initial request was made to him.

In any case, Inks is doing very little moderation anymore anyway.  After he came back from his one month leave, he's largely just been infracting sock accounts and leaving the day to day FC/OT moderation to Mikado.  So even if he were de-modded, very little would change.
