Pictures don't lie.  It is certainly not a ghost town dump like most people consider it to be, and it is rapidly growing.

Certainly not a dump = one of the most beautiful cities in the world? Great logic there.

I love the weather here!  I enjoy highs in the 80s and lows near freezing on the same day.  I love not know whether to clean out the tornado shelter or buy a snow shovel or put a snow shovel in the tornado shelter.  No, seriously, I do enjoy this stuff!  Nowhere in the world has as crazy weather like we do!

You enjoy highs in the 80s, yet you turn on the air conditioning when it's about 60 degrees outside?

Cool facts, should have probably been checked at some point though.

Nope, that'd be the Port of New Orleans (according to volume of cargo). I didn't see Tulsa Port of Catoosa referred to as any top port on any list.

Paris? Rome? Moscow? Rio de Janeiro?

Nope. Oklahoma City is truly the shining gem of the world.

Who could think differently? I mean, after all, Oklahoma City has the Oklahoma City Thunder! And I'm sure some type of hot dog was founded there too. See, you couldn't get bored in Oklahoma City!

Perhaps the most interesting fact of all about Oklahoma is that all the interesting facts about Oklahoma are lies.

I'll admit, I just copied and pasted straight from facebook, so I really didn't know these to be true.  It sounded a little fishy, but I still went with it.  Thanks, BK, for setting the record straight.  That still doesn't change the fact that Oklahoma City is still one of the most beautiful major cities in the world.  The pictures on that google link I posted do not lie.  Notice it only has maybe one or two pictures of the Oklahoma City Thunder.  They only add to the beauty.

I've never to been to Europe other than the Amsterdam and Brussels airports, so I really can't say one way or the other, but from pictures I've seen of the major cities across Europe, Oklahoma City ranks right up there with them in beauty.

Even in the US (where most major cities look almost alike), I can certainly think of more interesting and beautiful places than Oklahoma City...

I have different criteria for beauty than a lot of other people.

What others say about Okie City. Some like the folks there. Then things get a lot more tepid to scalding in a hurry.

Over half of Oklahoma's population is Evangelical Protestant.

Not really an interesting fact-more of an explanation for Oklahoma being...Oklahoma. Tongue

The top is far more beautiful than the bottom, though the bottom has its beauty, as well.

And, oh, that's an old picture, because it still calls the Arena, the Ford Center.  It's now the Chesapeake Energy Arena and has been the past two years, plus this picture doesn't have the new Devon Tower.

That's what makes Oklahoma grand!  Evangelical Protestants are Oklahoma's strength.
