Well, don't worry, turns out NK doesn't know how to fire their missiles.

That's just sad, if only Kim Jong Un had broken out his VHS copy of Matthew Broderick's WarGames or his collector's edition of Dr. Strangeglove he wouldn't have made such a mistake.

Personally, I'm not worried at all and I don't perceive NK as a real threat to anyone.

From the website that link links to, Pyongyang is apparently about equidistant from Frankfurt and Portland. Heh.

There is only one thing worth fighting for:

Though our country will never make war
We've a reason that's worth marching for
not for battle our banner unfurls
but for girls, girls, girls, girls, girls.
When we're marching we never retreat
for we're charging a foe that is sweet!
But we're caught in the swirls
of the enemy's curls
and surrender to girls, girls, girls.

Sure they have to go thousands of miles further, but that was a small price to pay for being able to use Mercator coordinates for all your calculations.

Or, they knew that the photo would get to the media and lines directly pointing to cities would strike fear into people so they didn't care if it was physically accurate.

Yes, but even more worried about them striking one of their east Asian neighbors, particularly South Korea or Japan.

I am legitimately scared of North Korea striking Seoul, especially with a dirty bomb.  It would be the swift end of the DPRK, but it also would be a humanitarian disaster, with many dead and many more sick and injured.

The prospect of them being able to hit America, however, is laughable.

Well, we do have anti-missile assets in the area.  The USS John McCain is there, the S.Koreans have plenty of Patriots.  We also have eyes in the sky that we can assume are keeping tabs on the goings on around any place in N.Korea that can launch something serious.  Obviously nothing is guaranteed in war, but in theory, the fine people of Seoul should be ok.

....from missile type stuff.  It's the artillery aimed at them that scare me the most.  What they need is an Iron Dome type system.

Which was apparently talked about 2 years ago.

Hopefully something was done behind closed doors...but that's unlikely.
