Due to massive infighting within the Democratic Party between the likes of Clinton, O'Malley, Schweitzer, etc., Randall Terry is miraculously able to win Democratic primaries by courting GOP evangelical voters to sabotage the vote.  Thus, Evangelical/pro-life turnout among the GOP is reduced and a more moderate GOP candidate is chosen.

What would the map for this look like?

Interesting.....so do you think VT/MA/RI/DE/MD are so partisan they'll vote D even if the D is far to the right of the R?

I would probably agree, except VT/DE seem really questionable......didn't they tilt left because of social issues.  MD/MA/RI have urban voters that would just vote straight ticket no matter what.

It would indeed be a GOP blowout, probably what NHI posted but the dems don't even win in NE.

Is it bad that I thought the Missy in question was actually Missy Franklin?

The Racist Democrats would once again have their Solid South, while we would see a revival of the great Yankee Republicans.
