Okay, I was inspired by a poll on "Olympus has fallen"'s website's poll, so I wonder how many or how few patriotic Altasians there are. Oh, mine is "I wouldn't be able to but I would". If you guys want to discuss this, you can...

Hmm.

Only if aliens (the real ones, not the foreigners) attacked, I guess. Invasions by other countries are not taking place in 2013 anyway.

For other threats like terrorists, we have the COBRA ("Swat Team"), the police and the army to deal with that. The professionals, you know. Unless I'm in the location where the terrorists attack or take hostages. I might try to pull off something heroic or stupid then. More likely something stupid so that I die in the gunfire/explosion from the terrorists ... Tongue

My response would entirely depend on the terrorists/invaders. If they were your standard imperialists or reactionary terrorists (thinking fascists/islamists here) I'd help to fight against them; if the invaders were from a socialist state or the terrorists were revolutionary socialists I'd be more likely to fight for them.

So my sympathies follow the cause, rather than to unthinkingly defend my capitalist state.
