 If both ran in 2012, (and alive) who would win? Switched their parties, JFK would prob get corp backings, Nixon would be socially liberal. Say they run after Obama decides not to run for re election

This ain't workin' man. Nixon, regardless of his liberal domestic policies during his presidency, would never sign onto the Democrats. And Kennedy would likely merely assimilate into the modern Democratic party flawlessly, regardless of his early anti-communism and such.

Kennedy and Nixon were two people that, due to how they were raised, in all likelihood would've been part of their real life political parties no matter what the stances.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was also somebody who would say and do anything to get elected.  Also, many of Nixon's policies were done out of pure cynicism ("If we can't beat them, might as well join them").  You pretty much described two guys who went with whatever the times thought.
