Wallace is basically a Socialist. We welcome him and all other disgruntled Democrats (and Republicans!) into the Socialist Party.

Whatever is the outcome of these negotiations, we need to make sure that all progressives vote for the socialist ticket, we can't let the post war prosperity go to capital, since the nominees of both traditional parties will ensure such outcome.

Uh, President Sinclair will still be a Socialist even if Wallace runs as his VP. If we have Sinclair/La Guardia and Wallace/Whatshisface, that'll split the progressive vote and allow the right to win. You don't want that, do you now?
