he wasn't any sort of 'forerunner' to fascism. he was very against nationalism (particularly germanic nationalism - unsurprising given he was a pole!) and anti-semitism. that was one of the many things his sister and the hitler regime blatantly lied about. and it should be obvious he was inherently opposed to mass movements in general. besides rand also cited aristotle and aquinas as influences and was extremely hostile to american libertarianism. why in the world would you take a confused, hypocritical sociopath like her at face value?

Had several very interesting thoughts and reflections. I don't exactly adhere to his philosophy (and I find his rejection of morality to be potentially dangerous indeed), but he doesn't deserve to be demonized.

I would demonize somebody who rejects the concept of morality, because that makes them an "evil" person by pure definition, does it not?

Rand embraced and then rejected Nietzsche; I find his influence on Objectivism to be a cancer.
