Is heavy metal just to right-wing for you (OMG!) or is it some other problem of the million you have with everything you don't do?

Both the right wing thing and I just can't stand the music. It has no appeal to me.

Aw, yeah!  I went to every Iron Maiden show that came to town from about 1982 till the mid-90s.  Our 11th grade English teacher let us listen to Iron Maiden's "Flight of Icarus" in her class when we were studying Greek mythology.  My friend Daniel talked her into it.  Apparently she was a big Eddie fan to begin with so it didn't take much convincing.

Actual metal or metalcore?

And I'm thinking more of fans of heavy metal/power metal/black metal. I can see moshing at death and thrash metal shows.

Depends what you consider "heavy metal" I suppose. I've seen Robert Plant (doing Led Zeppelin material), Living Colour, Tool, Blue Oyster Cult, Mountain, etc.
