After freakin' 32 years of Democrats not having the presidency, they're starting to get tired. They're like that kid that tries real hard but just can't make it in the world. I mean, why do they even try? It's obvious America doesn't want them. Running are some internationalists like Jimmy Cox and Billy McAdoo. Also are some non-super-pro-interventionist types like my man Alf Smith. Make your pick, 'kay bro?

This is a heck of a crowded field, and the fact that you included more candidates than I anticipated makes the decision tougher. In the end, I support Marshall/Owen.

James Cox was actually a pretty good candidate running in the wrong year.

Williams for VP.

I certainly haven't, although I don't deny that certain others here have. I've called them out on it too.

Fair enough. I only voted for McAdoo so the democrats can get a bad nominee and we can get Coolidge as president then Smith.

I really like Owen for VP, but I'm sorely tempted to withdraw my nomination of him in favor of Lee Overman.

I question what thought process produced that. Was it the filibuster of the lynching bill? The witch hunts? Laying the groundwork for HUAC? Giving the President massive powers?
