Right. And I would think he would want to stay that way. I'm far from perfect, but just for comparison: I work full time, feel as secure in my employment as anybody really can, and have a bit of emergency fund squirreled away just in case something terrible happens. And I still have anxiety about worst case scenarios. How does he have no care for tomorrow? That software is in incompatible with my Jew hardware

Listening to some people round here you just have to love how theyve turned the whole sorry mess into an opportunity for demonstrating just how well they have their own lives in order and just how sensibly they can spew their 'sound advice'. Its his multiple fcuk ups though, and his lack of interest in doing anything about it. I can empathize with the diet situation, but otherwise I don't get what the hell he is doing. And even with his diet, considering he might have had heart attacks (probably some angina), he should be even more serious about it, and really cutting out all the "cheat" snacks. Portion control is much harder, but making better choices to begin with, especially when your chance of keeling over and dying soon is high, is something to be expected. And just saying that his diet is out of his control when he is at home is even more infuriating. Why the hell doesn't he cook healthy then? Do you really think his mom would mind?

What people don't realize is we have a plan as a family.  I am following the plan.  Again, its a matter that I don't post everything on the forum or on facebook.  Granted, I should be updating a little less, but that's not doing that much harm.  I am following the plan that we have laid out as a family.  Its different than what most families would do, but what works for every family may not work for our family in this situation.  I am looking for employment, and I am looking for a vo-tech program at the same time.  We'll be fine.  There is no need to lock the thread as that won't change anything.

Idea: many people get their jobs from knowing people with the right connections. Obviously, church is a good place to start, but people at your family's church already know all about you and your past. People in church gossip. Comes with the territory. I want you to go to a new church. In wherever the fancypants part of Oklahoma City is. Where the movers and shakers go. Dress as nicely as you can. Be outgoing with people without seeming desperate. Let people know you are between jobs and living with your parents, again, without sounding desperate. I wouldn't be surprised if a job fell into your lap. People in church have something to prove, they very much want new people to stay, and you would be a great project if you can get the image right. All this talk of independence is nonsense. Networking is where the action is.

Come on Jeff, the plan sucks.  It's not working.  You're obese, unemployed, and in debt (probably more than you've admitted to).  You've got kids firing missiles from their drones in your shed.  You're a pathological liar who has admitted he probably has bi-polar disorder, yet you refuse to seek professional help.

I've only been home for 8 days.  The plan hasn't had time to produce fruit.  I've got a bunch of other stuff on my plate that I'm trying to deal with at the same time not just looking for employment or a vo-tech program.

I'm not going to reveal the plan as that's not public information, but just know that things are going as planned.
