For the sake of brevity, I will register you as "Adam OABB". Character-space is at a premium in my Census Bureau thread, and, due to formatting considerations, a word as long as "ObAwesomeBiBerg" imperils the legibility of the original posts.

"homelycooking" is indeed a translation error of sorts, from the Italian. The more commonly used colloquial American English equivalent of the phrase in question is "home cooking".
