VRA districts largely maintained (had to do a bit of random unpacking in places), two hard R packs at 59.9% and 60.1% presidential, 60.0% and 63.6% avg respectively, and all other districts at least 55% Dem avg (none of them over 60% and most just making it to 55.odd.)

A 10-2ish New Jersey map can be much cleaner than that.



Apart from the two VRA districts, only three towns are split- Bridgewater, Old Bridge, and Middletown.  Though I guess NJ-11 is only 55.2% Obama and a relatively anemic 51.8% Dem average.

You're right, much of this was completely unnecessary. Happens when you draw the R packs first... also, cutting out the southern end of the Hispanic district helps a lot.



Yes, 55 avg and up for all.
