Strickland's speech at the DNC last year was actually my favorite of the entire convention; I wondered if he would use that as a launching pad to run again.

Isn't he like 70? Chances are it'll be either Ryan or Cordray.

Yeah, 71.

DKE also throws around a few more names in addition those:  Rep. Tim Ryan, Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and perhaps even Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman or ex-Rep. Betty Sutton.

Of course not. Kasich would stomp him again.

49-47 isn't exactly a stomping, especially in 2010.

It means he'd win a rematch, of course. But Codray is probable a better candidate Smiley

Neither is 44-43, as thats how Kasich is currently polling against 'Generic D.'

At first, WI and OH looked like most promising rust belt states for Democrats, but MI and PA are looking more appetizing at the moment.

As a Republican I'd have preferred Strickland to run Wink

After the public employee union bill failed in a referendum, Kasich has come back as a much more pragmatic governor. Agree with him or not, he has done quite a bit, from JobsOhio to the Cleveland education reform bill. This will be an interesting election to watch for sure.
