You got any for 2013?  It is okay to have more than one.

My resolutions include getting serious about my physical health, getting even more serious about my spiritual health, and hold on to this job for the entire year.

My resolution for 2013 is to try as f**king hard as I possibly can to make it better than 2012, which was mediocre at best.

I'm going to have a hard time making 2013 better than 2012.  2012 was one of the best years of my life.  I started the year only planning to go visit Africa, coming home, and resuming my life.  I not only went to Africa, but God changed my heart so much that now He has called me to move to Africa full time within the next 5 years.  He took away my job at Dell as a preparation.  He allowed me to taste Xerox in Oklahoma City for a month just as a glimpse of what was to come.  He uprooted me out of Oklahoma and planted me in Salt Lake City as a preparation for moving out of the country, out of the continent, and out of the hemisphere.  He used the Xerox in Oklahoma City to remind me that I can work at the Xerox in Salt Lake City as a means of supporting myself.  There have been a few downs, but there have been many more ups.  God outdid Himself in 2012, despite my attempts to sabotage things.  I'm anxious to see what 2013 will bring.

I'm ten pounds underweight, so I guess that's #1.

You can have my ten pounds, then. Losing ten pounds is my new year's resolution.

Yeah, you should actually do something instead of moaning about.

Lose about 30lbs and I know I can do it, just need to actually use the willpower I do have. Also save as much money as I can like I have been so I can hopefully buy a nice condo in downtown Milwaukee around January 2014 or a little after.

To endeavor to do a better job in helping others with my knowledge and so forth, to the extent I can. Be good to your troop, as Peggy Noonan once said. That, at this stage in my life, is what gives it meaning, beyond whatever the "meaning" of extracting what ethical pleasure I can from this old body as it slowly wastes away despite my best efforts to slow that process down.

2012 was a good year for resolutions.  I managed to lose about 125-130lbs, quit smoking and have 6 months of no drinking. So Id like to maintain and continue down that path.

My 2013 would be to find a better, more fulfilling job and to take some risks professionally and in personal life.

you so clazy.

Seriously, though, that's very impressive.  Good show.

I haven't ever done a New Year's Resolution, but it seems to be all the rage.  More and more every year I keep hearing the phrase "New Year's Resolution" in sitcoms and newspapers and on the radio.  I guess I should resolve to stop being an asshole.  What a commitment, though.  Still, if you can do all that, I should be able to just relax and stop being a control freak and manage my anger better.

One thing I am working on, though not necessarily in tandem with the new year, is to be less judgemental of other people's decisions. People do crazy things all the time but it is their life to live.
