I thought that was just the convention, not the entire primaries, you see, in this scenario, Dukakis has the greatest amount of states Tsongas has the greatest amount of EVS  in his achieved states. So I'm confused, also, Clinton and Gore have 10 and 9 states, respectively, but Gore has the most EVS, but Clinton has the most states, so I'm confused... D:

Good timeline.

I think even the Democrats of the 1980's should be able to beat those tickets.

Meanwhile at the ABC Presidential Campaign Headquarters

Date: August 2nd 1988, 11:52 AM EST

Sorry for interrupting you Tom, but in probably the biggest twist of this election, Republican Presidential candidate Pat Buchanan has had a stroke! Senator Quayle has taken over the Buchanan Campaign as acting campaign runner. Mr. Buchanan is in the Virginia State Hospital right now, he is okay, but in critical condition right now. We will give you more details as the day progresses...

4:10 PM EST

Okay we just recieved word, Mr. Buchanan just got out of his coma, he has survived his stroke, but incapacitated right now, Senator Quayle has gotten permission by Mr. Buchanan to finish his campaign... that's right Senator Quayle has officially taken over the Campaign.

One nitpick, they would hold another vote until a candidate gets a majority of the delegates votes.  So just add one more vote with Quayle getting like 53.3% of the delegate vote.

Scandal that wreaks each other? Maybe a Massachusttess wide scandal that the Democrats were all involved in so they will probably won't be so effective in future elections, Presidential and Congressional.

Have Dukakis say something like he did in the general election debates in real life about the death penalty and have Tsongas have sex scandal with senate aid

Breaking News: July 15th 1988

Okay this is big, It has appeared that Paul Tsongas, Michael Dukakis, and John Kerry all have conspired to a dreaded scandal that will possibly wreak the Democratic Committee; Apparently Senator Tsongas, Governor Dukakis, and Senator Kerry have accepted bribes for delegate votes! And Senator Tsongas apparently aggreed to bribes to have an extramarital affair with another person while his real wife, who currently has skin, leg, and lung cancer. Governor Dukakis, when notified of this, he had a press confrence and said something so innapropreate, no one ever thought he would say such a thing. So now the only people left in the candidacy is Clinton, Gore, and Biden.

I was trying to copy someone else's thread, someone was running for president, then a scandal broke out like Dukakis', Oh, and spoiler: She lives, and converts to be a "Born again" Christian. Okay so since Clinton/Biden is occuring, who should Gore's VP be?
