Phyllis Schlafly is a constitutional lawyer and politically conservative activist. She is known for her opposition to modern feminism and for her campaign against the proposed Equal Rights Amendment.

Ugh, one of a few names the brings an automatic reaction of disgust in my mind. I strongly support the adoption of the ERA, so I easily say HP. Opposing that amendment to me is completely ludicrous.

Neutral.  She seems like a decent woman in many ways, but she worries too much about ideological purity and too often comes off as a bigot.  As someone who would consider myself a feminist (in the sense that I support equal rights for women), that is all I have to say about her.
