I think the survey question is seriously flawed.  It missed one of the most important would be candidate, Ron Paul!

Ron Paul would definitely do a lot better than Romney did.  He would have picked up IA, NV, NH, VA, FL, and even CO.  (based on his primary numbers and how strong his campaign was in those states.)  That would push Paul over the top with 273 EV and bring real change to the government for the next 4 years.

Oh please. Ron Paul is completely and utterly unelectable. Obama would have won every state where he was within 15 points of Romney.

Jeb would have won Florida
Huntsman would have carried Colorado, Florida, and possibly Nevada, as he was a very good fit for those states.

Not sure about Christie because he was never running anyway, due to the fact that he's in very poor health

Huntsman, Jeb, probably Daniels, Pence, possibly Thune. In retrospect it's hard to see why more of them didn't jump into the Republican nomination, as the competition was abysmal. Romney was the only one who even had a real campaign, so he practically won by default.

False.  Neither one would've done as well as Romney; Pence might've been the same in the end.

Romney lost because of the Latino vote.
He won enough of the white vote for any election before 2008.
He could have done better with Evangelicals, but that wouldn't have been enough.

Follow the GW Bush model for success, Evangelicals AND Hispanic voters.
