The demographics are reasonable and reflect Romney being in a better position than McCain.  This looks much less controversial than their midwest polls:

D+3 vs. D+6 in 2008

73% white vs. 70% white in 2008

This looks like a good poll for Obama.. I agree that the demographics look reasonable... Virginia is going to be very close!

Actually an improvement for Obama by 1 point. The last Marist poll in Virginia had Romney with 48% and Obama with 47%. I'll take an improvement any day of the week, no matter how small. I'm very optimistic for Obama's chances in Virginia now.

Btw Obama overperformed the final RCP average by 2.0% here last time.  That's not like Nevada, but it's probably statistically significant.
