Are there any Latino/Latina candidates they could run on the ticket in 2016?

I don't think there are any that are presidential or even VP material.

Only Villaraigosa and Castro come to mind.

I don't wanna seem being, but Salazar doesn't have the presidential looks. You may try to argue against it, but it would hold him back in the election. Villaraigosa would be 63 by then, but I think his nasty divorce might hurt him.

Villariagosa may have a shot, since he could also appeal to urban interest groups. But his divorce was pretty nasty.

Castro hasn't had the impact Obama had eight years ago, but he has been mayor of a place that was more populated than Vermont, whose Governor got some support in Democratic primaries in the same cycle.

Ken Salazar has the resume, but he isn't a particularly dynamic presence. He's also a poor fit for a few of the most likely Democratic presidential nominees. Hickenlooper is also from Colorado. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden might want someone who wasn't also in the Obama administration. Andrew Cuomo and Martin O'Malley are also Catholic.

I like Bob Menendez and the fact that he is a bachelor makes him more fun to read about.
